Distinguished academic in pediatrics, neonatology and perinatal epidemiology, with a master's degree from the University of Buenos Aires and PhD. She is a candidate for Tulante University. She is the Director of the Maternal and Child Health Research Department,
as well as Coordinator of the Statistics, Data Management and Information Systems Unit of the Institute of Clinical and Health Effectiveness. She has vast experience in teaching, as a professor and director at the Favaloro University and the University of Buenos Aires. Additionally, she serves as a faculty member and thesis mentor for the Master's Degree in Clinical Effectiveness (IECS-UBA).
Her research focus is evidence-based maternal and perinatal health, including randomized controlled trials to evaluate complex interventions, systematic reviews, and implementation research. Particularly notable are his
fundamental contributions in the field of pioneering maternal immunization strategies that achieved a significant reduction in the transmission of infectious diseases from mothers to their offspring.
