Scholarships for professionals

The Center of Excellence in Cardiovascular Health for the Southern Cone (CESCAS) and the National Heart, Lung and Blood Institute (NHLBI) of the United States offer full scholarships to pursue the Master's Degree in Clinical Effectiveness at the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Buenos Aires (UBA).

The scholarships are intended for health professionals (cardiologists, nutritionists, pulmonologists, nurses, doctors, etc.) and people from another profession (trained in social sciences, biostatistics, epidemiology and economics), but oriented or specialized in cardiovascular health.

The UBA Master's Degree in Clinical Effectiveness lasts 2 years and provides the necessary skills to design and execute clinical, service and health policy research projects. Its course modality is semi-face-to-face: students attend classes at the School of Public Health of the City of Buenos Aires during February (the two years that the master's degree lasts) and complete their training remotely through a guided virtual campus. by tutors.

Those who are selected to take the scholarship must work 5 hours a week on research developed by CESCAS, a center that aims to transfer the knowledge generated by health research in the Southern Cone to disease prevention policies and the promotion of healthy lifestyles in the region. .
