The Institute for Clinical and Health Effectiveness (IECS) has begun operations in its building at Lavalleja 856 (Autonomous City of Buenos Aires). This step consolidates more than two decades of experience dedicated to research, training, and strengthening health systems.
In July of this year, the Institute for Clinical and Health Effectiveness (IECS) began to develop its activities in its first own headquarters, located at Lavalleja 856, Autonomous City of Buenos Aires.
The first spaces in the building, located on the first and second floors, are already serving as the regular workspace for the IECS teams. In the coming months, the rest of the headquarters will be fully operational, with the addition of an auditorium, classrooms, and spaces specifically designed to foster collaboration between teams, located on the ground and fourth floors. Once this phase is complete, the new headquarters will double the IECS's current capacity and support its future growth. The headquarters is scheduled to be fully operational by early 2027, and its official inauguration will take place once this process is complete.
A strategic decision to continue growing
Having its own headquarters represents a strategic decision for the institutional growth of IECS. It is not merely a physical move, but a step that strengthens the organization's capacity for scientific research, providing technical cooperation, promoting academic training, and fostering the interdisciplinary work that characterizes the organization.
The building was designed to support the evolution of the IECS and respond to new ways of working. Its spaces foster collaboration, knowledge sharing, and innovation, integrating areas dedicated to research, training, and institutional activities.
The new headquarters provides a platform to further strengthen the institute's mission: to generate high-quality scientific evidence, build capacity, and contribute to improving decision-making and health systems in Argentina, Latin America, and other countries.
