Obstetrician, doctor in Reproductive Biology from the University of Salvador and doctor in Medicine from the University of Rosario. Currently, he serves as a principal investigator in the Maternal and Child Health Research Department of the IECS. He is also an associate professor at Tulane University and the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (United States) and Senior Researcher at the National Council of Science and Technology of Argentina (CONICET).
