The Institute of Clinical and Health Effectiveness (IECS), as an independent academic institution affiliated with the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Buenos Aires, opens registration for the Master's Degree in Clinical Effectiveness, which will begin in March 2025.
This academic cycle is especially significant, as the program celebrates 25 years since its creation, consolidating itself as a reference in the training of professionals with an interest in the development of research, design of interventions and evaluation of programs in the health field.
Over the years, more than 800 professionals have acquired the necessary tools to face the challenges of the sector, training in the use of quantitative and analytical methods for evidence-based decision making. The master's degree is aimed at professionals in the health, medical, social, human, economic and exact sciences.
The two-year program is organized into three areas:
– Clinical Management and Quality of Care
– Clinical and Epidemiological Research
– Health Technology Assessment and Economic Evaluations
The first year offers a solid general education, while the second year allows students to specialize in their area of interest. Completion of the program requires the presentation and defense of a thesis to obtain the Master's degree.
