New authorities in the management of the Master's Degree in Clinical Effectiveness

The Master's Degree in Clinical Effectiveness (PEC) of the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Buenos Aires announces changes in its direction, reaffirming its commitment to educational excellence.

La Dr. Vilma Irazola, current director of the Department of Research in Chronic Diseases of the Institute of Clinical and Health Effectiveness (IECS), takes over as Master's Director, Whereas the Dr. Juan Carlos Vassallo, coordinator of the Institute's Education Unit, is the new Vice principal.

Dr. Irazola, a doctor specializing in cardiology, epidemiology and public health, has an outstanding career in research and teaching. She has directed projects funded by national and international organizations and published numerous articles in high-impact scientific journals. For his part, Dr. Vassallo, a pediatrician and specialist in children's intensive care, is also associate director of teaching and research at Garrahan Hospital, contributing his vast experience in training programs.

The Master's Degree in Clinical Effectiveness, accredited by CONEAU with category A, stands out for its focus on quantitative and analytical methods applied to research, management and decision-making in health. 

The appointment of the new authorities reinforces the position of the Master's Degree as a reference in the training of health professionals, reaffirming the commitment of the IECS to educational excellence and the contribution to the development of new generations of professionals in the field of public health. .
