You can help research in infectious diseases by answering a short survey

From the IECS we will begin to participate in a project with The Global Health Network and the University of Oxford on the establishment of a Latin American network for “capacity building” in research methods and support for research projects in infectious diseases.

The Wellcome Trust, a global foundation with a mission to reduce the risk and impact of infectious diseases by supporting research that elucidates the sources and causes of these diseases, is conducting a short survey to determine priority research needs. about sources and causes of diseases.

Who can participate in the survey?

Health professionals whose work impacts or is related to infection care, research and control in the region. And people involved in the application of research and decision-making in public health.

The survey, online and self-administered, consists of 11 questions and will only take you 10 minutes to complete.

A workshop will be held in Brazil in June to discuss the results of the survey, define priorities and outline the Wellcome Trust's funding strategy for the region in this area.

Wellcome will select workshop attendees from among those who respond to the survey and are interested in participating in the event.

With your contribution you help achieve an equitable future for infectious disease research!
