Objective: Analyze, review and update national family planning guidelines and policies; being able to expand with political and practical innovations for the implementation of self-care in sexual and reproductive health of the WHO, in selected countries of America, in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Summary: Whereas evidence-based clinical guidelines promote overall efficacy, safety, and quality of care for the provision of reproductive health services, the proposal is to produce two analysis documents contextualized in the COVID-19 pandemic with respect to: 1) Analysis of the guidelines and policies linked to family planning in selected countries of the region in relation to the WHO guidelines in the health emergency; 2) Prepare the implementation of WHO evidence-based guidelines on Self-care in sexual and reproductive health within the framework of the health emergency.
