Brief

Study aimed at obtaining measurements of relevant variables prior to the implementation of the SUMAR Program Study on the Provisional Capacity of Public Sector Health Establishments and socio-health characterization of the Population in its Reference Areas, which will allow laying the conceptual and quantitative bases in the to support further research of interest.

Objectives

Accompany the development of the Provisional Capacity Study of Public Sector Health Establishments and socio-health characterization of the Population in their Reference Areas through advice on the supervision of field teams and the review or adaptation, as appropriate, of: the tools survey, procedure manuals; survey staff training program; field work planning; implementation protocols; control strategies data quality and monitoring strategy.

Summary

In this measurement of the Study of Health Provision Capacity of the Public Sector and socio-health characterization of the Population in its Reference Areas, it is planned to collect information of interest for pathologies that are not yet explicitly contemplated in its Health Services Plan (Diabetes and Arterial Hypertension) and in particular, the population groups for which the information gathering instruments will be applied are: children aged 0-9 years, adolescents aged 10-19 and adults aged 20-64 years.
Through this feasibility study, preliminary versions of the measurement instruments have been developed that seek to analyze all lines of care financed by the SUMAR Program from both the supply and demand sides of health services in the public subsector. . Likewise, preliminary versions of the operational protocols and manuals and training programs for the personnel involved have been prepared.
