Objective: To evaluate the association of new blood biomarkers with preterm birth. The primary objectives were to explore the association between blood levels of Progesterone (P4), P4 nuclear receptors (PR A and PR B), the enzyme that degrades P4, Endocannabinoids and the protein expression of FAAH, and PP. . Secondary objectives were to measure the recruitment rate to the study and the follow-up rate, and to evaluate the procedures for the collection, transportation, processing and storage of biological samples.

Type of study: Prospective observational case-cohort study

Financing: Health Research Scholarship “Dr. “Abraam Sonis”
