Objective

Form the Center of Excellence in Chronic Diseases of South America, through collaborative work between the Department of Chronic Diseases of the IECS, the Division of Population Sciences of the Dana-Farber Institute (Harvard Medical School) and the Center of Excellence in Chronic Diseases (CHRONIC) of the Peruvian University Cayetano Heredia. Design and conduct collaborative research.

Summary

This project seeks to strengthen the mechanisms for transferring knowledge, infrastructure and resources between the institutions that make up the Center, with the aim of expanding local research capabilities in Cancer and Cardiovascular Disease. Emphasis is placed on conducting research that responds to the most priority research needs of the region.
