This descriptive study sponsored by FIC aimed to evaluate the preferences of pregnant women regarding the method of termination of labor, that is, cesarean section or vaginal delivery. Nulliparous pregnant women were enrolled and interviewed during pregnancy in four hospitals in Buenos Aires, Argentina. These women were followed up until delivery to evaluate the actual delivery mode. We recruited 382 women during pregnancy and only one woman was lost to follow-up. The study is undergoing analysis of main results.
