Objective: Carry out a technical review of the Ten-Year Public Health Plan (PDSP) 2022-2031 of Colombia.

Summary: This project consisted of technically reviewing the document of the Ten-Year Public Health Plan 2022-2031 and making recommendations for its implementation. The analysis was organized into 3 axes:

  1. Programmatic functionality, comprised of the internal coherence of the PDSP design (problem analysis, theoretical framework, logical correspondence), the management of the plan and financing, the differential populations addressed and the monitoring and evaluation scheme.
  2. The legitimacy of the PDSP, observing the elements that account for 'how' it was built (participatory process, inclusion of mapping and analysis of actors).
  3. Recommendations for implementation, focusing on flexibility, prioritization and gradualism.
