
Ayelén Toscani
Ayelen Toscani holds a PhD in Biological Sciences from the University of Buenos Aires, with training in basic science and extensive experience in coordinating and monitoring randomized clinical trials.
She currently works as a researcher in the Department of Maternal and Child Health Research at the Institute for Clinical and Health Research (IECS), where she participates in the design, implementation, management, and monitoring of health research studies, with a primary focus on Chagas disease in Argentina.
She is a leading expert in ethical and regulatory aspects related to clinical research in the Department of Maternal and Child Health Research at IECS. She was a professor of "Implementation Research" and "Clinical Trials" in the Master's Program in Clinical Effectiveness (IECS - UBA). She also teaches the courses "Conducting Clinical and Epidemiological Research: How to Implement a Research Project in Public Health?" and "Introduction to Ethics and Monitoring in Clinical Research Studies" taught at IECS.
