Matías Loewy is a journalist specialized in science and medicine. Pharmacist graduated from the UBA, trained as a scholarship recipient of the Scientific and Technical Dissemination Program (SyT) of the Leloir Institute. He completed a master's degree in Social Sciences and Health from CEDES-FLACSO

In the IECS Communications and Marketing Unit, he supports the development and dissemination of scientific and technical content, as well as strategic institutional topics. He is also editor of the CyTA-Leloir Agency and a postgraduate lecturer at the Leloir Institute Foundation and several national universities.

Founding member and former president of the Argentine Network of Scientific Journalism. Collaborator for several national and international media. Konex honorary diploma in the Scientific Journalism category (2017). Author of the book “Immortality. Promises, fantasies and realities of eternal youth” (Authorship) and co-author of other works, such as “Communication and health in Argentina” (La Crujía).
