In March 2018, the IECS coordinated a policy dialogue with regional experts (policy dialogue), an analysis methodology promoted by the World Health Organization (WHO) that favors the discussion and successful implementation of public policies. This policy dialogue, which aimed to contextualize and reach a consensus on priority strategies for mosquito control, brought together 11 experts from 7 Latin American countries and a representative of the Pan American Health Organization (PAHO).
