Diabetes tipo 2. Estudio revela que la sufre el 11% de los adultos del Cono Sur

Un estudio científico que se realizó a 7580 personas de ciudades seleccionadas de Argentina, Chile y Uruguay revela que el 11 por ciento de los adultos de entre 35 y 74 años padece diabetes tipo 2. De ellos, el 25% desconoce su condición y entre quienes sí saben que son diabéticos, casi el 47,1% no está controlado. La población más castigada por esta enfermedad tiene bajo nivel educativo (en ese segmento la padece el 14%, contra el 6% en la población de mayor nivel educativo).
